I edited a series of 3 spots for the initiative »Kunst hat Recht«. The first clip, named »Literatur hat Recht«, aired last friday and caused a lot of controversial discussion on facebook, youtube and other places over the weekend. Hence Golden Girl Filmproduktion's team and me did a good job ... causing awareness, that is.

Here is what the the campaign says about the campaign (in german):

 »Namhafte Filmschaffende haben mit KünstlerInnen aus unterschiedlichen Kunstrichtungen für die Initiative "Kunst hat Recht." eine kleine Serie von kurzen Filmen produziert. Der erste Film "Literatur hat Recht." entstand unter der Regie von Sabine Derflinger mit Gerhard Ruiss (Autor und Musiker) und vielen anderen Darstellern. Die Musik stammt von Peter Janda, produziert hat den Film Golden Girls Filmproduktion. Unser großer Dank gilt allen Darstellern, der Regisseurin, dem Komponisten und dem Produktionsteam, die durch ihre Unterstützung und Mitwirkung diesen Film erst ermöglicht haben.«

I would like to recommend Tim Jackson's »Prosperity Without Growth" for y'all.

Tim Jackson is Professor of Sustainable Development at the University of Surrey and Director of the Research Group on Lifestyles, Values and Environment (RESOLVE). Since 2004, Jackson has been Economics Commissioner on the UK Sustainable Development Commission and is the author of their controversial and groundbreaking report, now updated and expanded in the book, "Prosperity Without Growth: Economics for a Finite Planet". In addition to his academic work, he is an award-winning playwright with numerous radio-writing credits for the BBC.

Starting today I sell stuff, a lot of stuff, quality stuff, stuff that served me well. But ... I no longer need it! So I intend giving my stuff - mostly hardware from my studio - to anybody who needs it at a reasonable price. »Escape to the other side« was selected by the Austrian Embassy as the Austrian contribution to the EUROPEAN FILMFESTIVAL in Tunis. For the director Ralf Jacobs it is a special honor, that his documentary is shown in Tunisia, where the "Arab revolution" had it's beginning as a sign for the rest of the world.
